Chinese electric car manufacturer, Geely, has recently released official images of its soon-to-be-launched L6 EM-i sedan. Built on the next-generation Thor PHEV system (known as NordThor or Leishen), this vehicle marks a significant step forward for the brand.

In terms of exterior design, the Geely Galaxy L6 EM-i closely resembles the current L6 model, with the notable difference being the switch to conventional door handles and the addition of the EM-i logo on the rear. This subtle change gives the vehicle a more traditional yet elegant appearance.

The Geely Galaxy L6 EM-i is expected to maintain the same dimensions as its predecessor, with a length of 4782 mm, a width of 1875 mm, a height of 1489 mm, and a wheelbase of 2752 mm.

The interior of the Geely Galaxy L6 EM-i has undergone a significant transformation, now featuring a multifunctional steering wheel, a full LCD instrument panel, wireless phone charging, dual cup holders, and a rotary knob. Additionally, the vehicle will be equipped with the intelligent Flyme Auto cockpit system, enhancing the overall driving experience.

The Geely Galaxy L6 EM-i is expected to offer a smooth and efficient driving experience with its advanced PHEV system.

According to information released by MIIT China, the Geely Galaxy L6 EM-i will share the same powertrain as the Geely Galaxy L7 EM-i. This includes a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine producing 82 kW (110 hp) and an electric motor, paired with either an 8.5 kWh or 19.09 kWh LFP battery pack. The vehicle will offer an all-electric range of 48 km and 115 km, respectively, and impressive fuel efficiency of 3.8 L and 3.95 L per 100 km.

Chinese media anticipates that the Geely Galaxy L6 EM-i will be priced competitively, starting at RMB 99,800 (approximately USD 14,200).
