The Hanoi People’s Committee has approved the 2025 land use plan for Dong Anh district, with a list of 513 projects totaling nearly 5,325 hectares.

Of these, 357 works and projects must be reported to the municipal People’s Council for approval, and 155 projects are not subject to this requirement. In addition, there is one project that was identified in the previous year’s plan and will continue to be implemented.

Among the listed projects, there are four social housing projects with a total area of nearly 179 hectares.

Specifically, the project to build housing for low-income earners at CT3 and CT4 plots in the new urban area of Kim Chung (now known as the project to build social housing at CT3 and CT4 plots in the new urban area of Kim Chung) by the joint venture of Handico and Viglacera investors, with a planned area of 3.7 hectares.

The social housing area in Dai Mach commune has a scale of 94.6 hectares.

The remaining two projects are located in Tien Duong commune, with respective areas of 44.7 hectares and 39.5 hectares. These three projects are subject to bidding and investor selection.

Also, in mid-December 2024, the social housing project in Uy No commune, Dong Anh district, Hanoi, with a total investment of over VND 600 billion, was inaugurated. The project is built on an area of over 15,000 square meters with four 9-story blocks, providing approximately 466 apartments. The project is expected to be completed by the end of October 2026.

In addition to social housing projects, the 2025 land use plan for Dong Anh district also includes many large-scale urban area and housing projects.

Typically, the project to invest in building a new urban area in Xuan Canh, Dong Hoi, and Mai Lam communes, with an area of over 265 hectares and an expected total investment of VND 34,879 billion, by Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center Joint Stock Company (VEFAC) – a subsidiary of Vingroup – as the investor.

Or the Smart – Ecological Urban Area project in Tam Xa, Vinh Ngoc, and Xuan Canh communes, with an area of 268 hectares and a preliminary total investment of about VND 33,093 billion. The project is invested by a joint venture of Vingroup, Thai Son Construction and Investment Joint Stock Company, and Long Hai Trading and Development Investment Joint Stock Company.

In addition, there is the project of the new National Exhibition Fair Center in Dong Anh district with an area of over 92 hectares, invested by Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center Joint Stock Company (VEFAC).

There is also the Smart City project with an area of 271 hectares, invested by Hanoi North Smart City Development Investment Joint Stock Company. The Kim Quy Cultural, Tourism, and Entertainment Park project, with an area of 101 hectares invested by Sun Group, is also included in the 2025 land use plan of the district.

A series of projects to build technical infrastructure in land auction areas are also included in the list, such as the project to build and complete technical infrastructure according to the plan combined with the auction of land use rights in Xuan Canh 4, Xuan Canh commune; construction and completion of technical infrastructure according to the plan combined with the auction of land use rights in XN1, Xuan Non commune…
