Vietnamobile customers can now register for domestic data roaming with Mobifone and enjoy seamless connectivity. With the launch of the new VOWIFI service, customers can also make and receive calls over Wi-Fi.
Vietnamobile has entered into an agreement with Mobifone to offer domestic data roaming services to its customers. Specifically, when Vietnamobile customers are in areas with unstable signals and have subscribed to this data roaming package, they will be able to connect to the Mobifone network to maintain communication and services.

All Vietnamobile subscribers with an active main package can register for the Mobifone data roaming package for just VND 25,000/month, which includes 2.5GB of Mobifone data. The registration process is simple: send DK MR to 123. Existing package benefits remain unchanged. Additionally, during the launch period, customers who upgrade to the Sim Hoi+ will receive this service for free.
The data roaming package is available in 29 provinces, including Bac Kan, Son La, Ha Giang, Yen Bai, Hoa Binh, Lang Son, Ha Tinh, Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Ninh Binh, Ha Nam, Quang Ninh, Nam Dinh, Bac Ninh, Thanh Hoa, Hung Yen, Nghe An, Tuyen Quang, Hai Duong, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Thai Binh, Dak Nong, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Bac Lieu, Binh Phuoc, Ca Mau, and Dak Lak.
“The launch of these new products is a testament to Vietnamobile’s unwavering commitment to enhancing its network infrastructure and delivering superior service experiences to its customers,” shared Mr. Raymond Ho, CEO of Vietnamobile. “Especially during the festive season, when there is a high demand for mobility, customers can rest assured that they will stay connected no matter where they are.”
Vietnamobile is also introducing the VoWifi (Wi-Fi Calling) service, free of charge, to further enhance its customers’ convenience. VoWiFi allows customers to make and receive calls over a Wi-Fi network, ensuring better coverage and call quality indoors. When customers move to an area with better cellular coverage or out of Wi-Fi range, the calls will seamlessly switch back to the mobile network without any disruption in communication.

To use this service, customers can register for free by sending ON to 123. The Wi-Fi calling feature is built into smartphones, so customers don’t need to do anything other than enable it after registering for the service. Once activated, all calls will be seamlessly handled over Wi-Fi, just like on a mobile network.
