Indian media reported that Vayve Mobility of India unveiled its new mini electric car, the Eva, at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo.

The car is offered in three variants: Nova, Stella, and Vega, with a starting price of ₹3.25 lakh Rs (approximately $90,000) for a lease with a battery rental option. The purchase option starts at ₹3.99 lakh Rs (around $110,000).

According to the manufacturer, this price is only applicable to the first 25,000 buyers, who will also receive additional benefits such as unlimited over-the-air updates and three years of connectivity services.

The Vayve Eva is an ultra-compact EV with dimensions of 2,950 x 1,200 x 1,590 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 2,100 mm. It is significantly smaller than the VinFast VF 3 (3,190 x 1,689 x 1,622 mm), a mini SUV from Vietnam that is expected to enter the Indian market in October 2025 with a price range of ₹9-12 lakh Rs ($26,400-$35,200).

Designed as an urban mobility solution, the Vayve Mobility Eva could even be a potential alternative to luxury scooters like the Honda SH.

With three seats, including one front seat and a bench seat in the rear, the Vayve Mobility Eva offers easy access to the back seats due to the absence of a passenger-side front seat. It rides on 12-inch wheels.

The Vayve EVA boasts an attractive cockpit with desirable features such as a digital instrument cluster, a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, air conditioning, power windows, parking sensors, a tire pressure monitoring system, and a rearview camera.

One of the most distinctive features of the Vayve EVA is the option to charge it using solar energy. Vayve Mobility claims that the solar panel can add an extra 10 km of range per day, resulting in 3,000 km of free driving per year, in addition to the standard battery range.

The solar panel option is priced at ₹20,000 Rupee ($5,800) for the Nova and Stella variants and ₹25,000 Rupee ($7,300) for the Vega variant.

For those who opt for the battery rental service, the company charges ₹2 Rupee/km, with a minimum distance of 600 km, 800 km, and 1,200 km for the Nova, Stella, and Vega variants, respectively.

Performance-wise, the Vayve EVA can accelerate from 0-40 km/h in 5 seconds and reach a top speed of around 70 km/h. It supports fast DC charging and slow charging via a standard household electrical outlet. The battery can be charged from 10 to 70% in just 15 minutes using a DC charger, or it can be fully charged in 5 hours using a standard 15A household outlet.

In the Indian market, the Vayve EVA is offered in six exterior colors: Moonstone White, Light Platinum, Rose Coral, Sky Blue, Champagne Gold, and Cherry Red.
