The smallest electric car in the Vietnamese market, the VinFast Minio Green, is still in its development phase. However, some of its specifications have recently been revealed through dealerships.
The Minio Green will offer two variants: Plus and Eco, with maximum ranges of 180 km and 120 km respectively on a single charge (NEDC standard). It supports slow AC charging up to 3.3 kW and fast DC charging at 12 kW.
This minicar packs a rear-mounted electric motor that delivers 20 kW (approximately 26.8 hp) and 65 Nm of torque. It can sprint from 0 to 50 km/h in 6.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 85 km/h.
Dimensions remain as previously announced: 3,090 mm in length, 1,496 mm in width, and 1,625 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,065 mm and a ground clearance of 155 mm. The cabin comfortably accommodates four occupants.
The Minio Green features two side doors, a trunk door, and smoother lines compared to the VinFast VF 3. The signature ‘V’ logo and dual-stripe design are prominently displayed. The headlamps are round, but it’s unclear if they use halogen or LED bulbs. The front bumper is a simple silver/black design. The alloy wheels are smaller than those on the VF 3 but still look modern, complemented by plastic covers.
