Mrs. Le Thi Thu Hien – General Director of United International Pharma (UIP)

United International Pharma (UIP), in collaboration with the Binh Duong Province Labor Federation, sponsored a special initiative named “Tet Sum Vay – Xuan on Dang”. This program aimed to bring nearly 2000 migrant workers closer to their homes and families for the Lunar New Year celebrations. The event was held at the Ben Cat Worker Culture Center, witnessed by various government, union, and local representatives, along with 600 struggling workers from the area.

“For many migrant workers, the Lunar New Year brings hopes and joys of family reunions, but it also comes with financial concerns due to increased travel expenses,” shared Mrs. Le Thi Thu Hien, UIP’s General Director. “We hope to contribute and bring the joy of reunion to our hardworking fellow citizens,” she added.

UIP has also committed to partnering with the Binh Duong Province Labor Federation to successfully organize the “Chuyen xe Cong doan- Xuan 2025” program. This initiative will provide transportation for over 2,000 workers to return to their homes in nearby provinces and distant locations in the North and Central regions, including Hanoi, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Thai Nguyen, and Phu Yen. The journeys are scheduled to commence on January 25, 2025 (the 26th of the Lunar calendar).

Additionally, UIP, in collaboration with the Binh Duong Department of Health and the Ben Cat City Health Center, distributed 2,000 health care gift packages to support the workers’ well-being during their journey home. These packages included high-quality and practical products manufactured by UIP.

Mr. Pham Trong Nhan, the new Chairman of the Binh Duong Province Labor Federation, acknowledged and highly appreciated UIP’s efforts and contributions to the spiritual and physical well-being of the workers.

This year, approximately 450,000 workers have decided to stay in Binh Duong Province for the Lunar New Year, an increase from the previous year.
