Recently, a number of enterprises have released their financial statements for the fourth quarter of 2024:
VNG Joint Stock Company (stock code: VNZ) has just released its fourth-quarter consolidated financial statements, reporting a slight increase in revenue to 2,613 billion VND. Gross profit rose over 30% year-on-year to 982 billion VND. Due to provisions for losses on investments in associated companies and provisions for asset impairment, VNG recorded an after-tax loss of more than 421 billion VND.
On a cumulative basis for the full year, VNG narrowed its after-tax loss from 2,317 billion VND in the previous year to 1,018 billion VND. Thus, the company has incurred after-tax losses exceeding 1,000 billion VND for three consecutive years.
Vicostone (VCS) reported a 21% year-on-year decrease in pre-tax profit for the fourth quarter, reaching 223 billion VND. For the full year, pre-tax profit decreased by 5% to 953 billion VND compared to 2023.
Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Company (PHR) achieved a pre-tax profit of 268 billion VND in the fourth quarter, a 46% increase year-on-year. For the full year, pre-tax profit reached 556 billion VND, a decrease of 30%.
DNP Holding (DNP) recorded a pre-tax profit of over 60 billion VND in the fourth quarter, a remarkable surge of 172 times compared to the same period last year. Net profit amounted to 69 billion VND, 33 times higher year-on-year. For the full year, DNP Holding’s net profit reached nearly 193 billion VND, a 51% increase compared to 2023.
Digiworld (DGW) posted a 21% year-on-year increase in net revenue to 5,859 billion VND for the fourth quarter. Net profit for the quarter stood at 146 billion VND, up 62% from the previous year. On a cumulative basis for the full year, Digiworld’s net profit was nearly 449 billion VND, a 24% increase compared to 2023.
