According to a reporter from Báo Người Lao Động on the morning of March 17, the large-scale construction site of Terminal T3 at Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport is rushing to complete the final items to soon finalize the project.

Mr. Trần Ngọc Long, Deputy Director of the T3 Tân Sơn Nhất Terminal Project Management Board, said that the terminal construction project is currently finalizing the last steps before the official inauguration on April 30 this year.

The total construction volume of the project has reached about 98%. Up to now, some sections on steel structure, roof structure, and construction structure have been completed by 100%, 98%, and 100%, respectively. The bridge and pipe systems have been installed and are in the process of being operated. The plan from now until the end of March 2025 is to complete the remaining construction architecture, and then inspect the refrigeration, air conditioning, and other aviation systems. From there, the fire protection system will be tested at the beginning of April…

The connecting roads to Terminal T3 have completed the construction structure and are continuing to be refined. Terminal T3 at Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport is built next to the existing terminal. In the distance, planes of Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet are parked at the domestic terminal of Tân Sơn Nhất Airport, waiting to carry passengers.

The road in front of the T3 terminal entrance is being asphalted on March 17, while the construction units are continuing to refine many items related to lighting, air conditioning, and fire protection systems…

The road and pipe bridge systems leading to the aircraft parking lot are also being urgently completed. The project is being constructed and implemented right next to the existing airport, which is currently in operation.

Construction workers are working in 3 shifts, 4 teams, continuously working on holidays, Tet holidays, and rest days to put the project into operation as soon as possible.

Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport has developed a plan to operate Terminal T3, with the initial focus on domestic flights of Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet. The airport will conduct a trial operation of Terminal T3 before its inauguration on April 30.
