On March 19th, Mr. Tran Hoang Tuan, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Quan Bau Ward, Vinh City, Nghe An Province, stated that the unit is preparing a report regarding the Lũng Lô – Vinh building project (located at 33 Phan Boi Chau Street, Vinh City). The project, developed by Commercial and Construction Investment Joint Stock Company 389, has been occupied by residents for several months despite not having completed the acceptance process.

The 26-story Lũng Lô – Vinh building was occupied by residents before the official acceptance process.

In response to this situation, a leader of Vinh City, when interviewed by VTC News, affirmed that they have received the information and will direct the competent authorities to investigate and handle the issue promptly.

Previously, Commercial and Construction Investment Joint Stock Company 389 was fined VND 130 million by the People’s Committee of Vinh City for illegally constructing a transformer station. They were also given a 90-day deadline to obtain a construction permit. However, the company has not yet received approval for the planning adjustment or the construction permit for the aforementioned illegally constructed transformer station.

According to the Nghe An Province Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department, the transformer station does not meet the required safety distance standards. Currently, Commercial and Construction Investment Joint Stock Company 389 is in the process of applying for planning adjustments.

The Nghe An Department of Construction emphasized that “planning approval must adhere to the principle of not legalizing violations.”
