The 2026 Toyota Corolla Cross has been officially unveiled with notable changes, focusing on a sportier design, hybrid powertrain options, and an upgraded GR Sport variant for enhanced performance.

Specifically, the front of the vehicle stands out with its honeycomb grille, sharper lighting clusters featuring new LED graphics. The rear end has also been refined with new LED taillights that integrate small spoilers in the corners, which Toyota claims improve stability and aerodynamic efficiency. The new 18-inch wheel design also contributes to the vehicle’s refreshed overall appearance.
Inside the cabin, the 2026 Corolla Cross boasts an upgraded center console, a new gear selector, wireless phone charging, a 10.5-inch infotainment screen, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
While the GR Sport variant doesn’t receive any engine upgrades, it boasts a much more distinctive appearance. The front bumper and grille are uniquely designed, taking inspiration from the GR Corolla hatchback. The 19-inch black wheels and Storm Grey exterior color enhance the sporty aesthetic. The suspension has been lowered by 10 mm and tuned for improved handling. The electric power steering has also been adjusted, along with the inclusion of standard paddle shifters, Sport and Snow driving modes.
Additionally, the GR Sport interior features sporty seats and numerous small details that create a dynamic ambiance.
Two hybrid powertrain options are available for the 2026 Corolla Cross. The Hybrid 140 combines a 1.8L gasoline engine with an electric motor, producing a total output of 138 horsepower. The more powerful Hybrid 200 pairs a 2.0L gasoline engine with an electric motor, generating 194 horsepower.
