Mr. Nguyen Tung Lam, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of BCG Land JSC (UPCoM: BCR) has sold his entire holding of 3.09 million BCR shares (equivalent to 0.65% of capital) on May 5th and ceased to be a shareholder. The transaction was conducted via order matching with an estimated total value of nearly VND 5.3 billion.
Following this, Mr. Nguyen Khanh Duy, a member of the Board of Directors, registered to sell all of his 2.06 million BCR shares (0.435%) from May 13th to June 6th due to personal financial needs. If the transaction is successful, Mr. Duy will also cease to be a shareholder of BCR.
Chief Accountant Huynh Thi Thao has also registered to sell all of her 280,450 BCR shares from May 5th to May 23rd. Previously, Mr. Pham Huu Quoc, Deputy General Director, sold all of his 309,000 BCR shares on April 14th and 15th, earning approximately VND 700 million.
These divestment transactions occur amidst BCR‘s facing multiple personnel changes. Following the prosecution of Mr. Nguyen Ho Nam, the Board has undergone several leadership changes. On March 14th, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tien was appointed as the new General Director, replacing Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung.
Mr. Pham Dai Nghia, Deputy General Director and legal representative, also left his position on March 20th upon his request. Mr. Ho Viet Thuy has taken on this role.
Previously, on February 28th, BCR received a notification regarding the prosecution of Ms. Huynh Thi Kim Tuyen, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Mr. Le Nong, Deputy General Director. The Board immediately dismissed Mr. Nong from his position.
Also, on February 28th, Mr. Nguyen Tung Lam submitted his resignation as a member of the Board of Directors for the 2022-2027 term and no longer holds any rights or obligations as a Board member from the submission date.
In the stock market, BCR’s share price has plummeted following a series of negative news. Currently, the share price hovers around VND 1,800 per share, a 60% drop within just one quarter. Average trading volume reaches approximately 3 million shares per day.
