The final registration date for the upcoming payout on May 23rd is May 15th. Vinamilk still has a remaining dividend of VND 2,350 per share for 2024, meaning there will be one more payout of VND 350 per share, expected to be made in Q3 this year.

Previously, the country’s largest dairy company had paid out two interim cash dividends for 2024, totaling VND 2,000 per share, equivalent to VND 4,180 billion.

Currently, SCIC is Vinamilk’s largest shareholder with a 36% stake and is estimated to receive over VND 1,500 billion from this dividend. The two foreign shareholders, F&N and Platinum Victory Pte, Ltd., will receive VND 852 billion and nearly VND 444 billion, respectively.

The recent Annual General Meeting approved a cash dividend policy for 2025 of at least 50% of the consolidated after-tax profit for the year.

Vinamilk has consistently maintained a cash dividend policy since 2006. In the last five years, the company has distributed cash dividends ranging from VND 3,850 to VND 4,500 per share annually.

However, alongside the dividend policy, Vinamilk’s net profit has not seen impressive growth but has rather remained stable. This is one of the reasons why the market’s valuation of VNM stock has contracted over time, no longer reflecting the valuation of a high-growth potential company.
