The leaders of the two countries jointly identified orientations to elevate the traditional friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Russia to new heights.
Speaking at the inauguration, Ms. Thai Huong – Chairwoman of the TH Group’s Strategy Council, Founder of TH true Milk, and General Director of BAC A BANK – expressed: “TH’s project in Russia also opens up a new trend in investment cooperation between Vietnam and the international community. Ms. Thai Huong expressed her special gratitude to the leaders of the Party, State, and Government of Vietnam for their consistent support, encouragement, and attention, especially to General Secretary To Lam and the high-level delegation of Vietnam for attending this important event. She also thanked the leadership of the Russian Federation, led by President Vladimir Putin, for their consistent policies to attract investment and support businesses, always accompanying and closely directing the project. At the same time, the founder of TH Group expressed her gratitude to the leaders of Kaluga Province, the construction contractors, suppliers, TH’s partners, and financial organizations for their trust in the group.
“We decided to invest in Russia because we saw a ‘golden opportunity’ in business: a Russia with transparent and robust agricultural policies – under the decisive leadership of President Vladimir Putin. With its vast resources of clean land, water, and a unique climate for clean agriculture, Russia has the potential to become an agricultural powerhouse. TH has contributed to realizing this potential – not only for opportunities but also for responsibility and belief,” said Mr. Ngo Minh Hai, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TH Group, at the inauguration.

Mr. Ngo Minh Hai shared that with a designed capacity of 1,000 tons/day and a phase 1 capacity of 500 tons/day, applying the most modern and automated technology in the world, the plant is the final link in the closed-loop production chain that TH has built in Russia – from pastures, high-yield dairy herds, to logistics and processing.
“We confidently say that TH true MILK products – made from this very land – will be of the highest quality, worthy of the trust of Russian consumers,” emphasized the leader of TH Group.
At the inauguration ceremony of the TH Fresh Milk Processing Plant in Kaluga Province, Mr. Vladimir Vasilievich Potemkin, Deputy Governor of Kaluga Province, recalled: “For Russia, Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War is always very special. The inauguration of the TH fresh milk processing plant on this solemn occasion is very significant. It reminds me of what touched me the most and what I found most remarkable. That is the reason why Ms. Thai Huong and TH Group decided to invest in Russia.”

The Deputy Governor of Kaluga shared that TH Group invested during a challenging period when Russia faced sanctions. Ms. Thai Huong said, “When Vietnam was still at war, the Soviet Union helped us wholeheartedly in terms of both human resources and material resources. Now that Russia is facing difficulties, my investment here is partly to reciprocate that help.”
“The reason Ms. Thai Huong gave is extremely valuable. That reason makes us always feel responsible and affectionate to stand side by side with TH on the journey of building and completing the project. I love the young, dynamic, and beautiful people at TH Group. I believe that Russians will love TH’s fresh milk products,” said Mr. Vladimir Vasilievich Potemkin.
“I Will Bring Vietnamese Milk to the World”

This plant is a testament to the words of Labor Hero Thai Huong – Founder of TH Group and the “architect” of the project: “I will bring Vietnamese milk to the world.” Before TH Group invested in the Russian Federation, Vietnam focused its investment cooperation on Russia’s strong industries, such as oil and gas. Now, it is a very different field: agriculture. The agricultural projects that TH Group is implementing in the Russian Federation demonstrate the capabilities of a new generation of Vietnamese entrepreneurs in new fields, reflecting their professional, systematic, and serious project implementation skills.
According to Ms. Thai Huong, agriculture is the foundation of a nation and is closely linked to the livelihoods of millions of people. The Russian Federation has a significant advantage in agriculture, sufficient to ensure food security and safety. Building on this substantial advantage will bring unlimited values that the world dreams of and aspires to. That is clean organic agriculture serving the lives of human beings.
Implementing the project during the period of sanctions, followed by the pandemic and the war, but with unwavering determination and great resolve, befitting the heroic virtues of a heroic nation, Ms. Thai Huong has led the project to achieve many successes, bringing science and technology, and management science to create an advanced and modern production system, helping the project achieve milk productivity and quality that ranks at the top in the Russian Federation and the world.
The inauguration ceremony also conveyed the message, “Let’s Make Milk with the Affection of Vietnam-Russia Friendship” – TH’s commitment to bringing sustainable values and contributing to fostering the comprehensive partnership between the two countries.

The TH Fresh Milk Processing Plant in Kaluga is built on an area of nearly 15 hectares in the Kaluga Special Economic Zone, Borovsk District, Kaluga Province, about 100km from Moscow. The plant has a capacity of 1,000 tons/day, with a phase 1 capacity of 500 tons/day, ranking among the top milk processing plants in the Russian Federation.
Designed with leading technology by Bilfinger Tebodin from the Netherlands and GEA from Germany, and constructed by CBMI Sinoma China – a leading Chinese state-owned construction company, the plant is equipped with processing, bottling, packaging, and automation lines from top brands worldwide, including Germany, Sweden, Norway, Japan, Turkey, and China. These lines are installed and operated by leading international experts with extensive experience.

The plant uses raw materials entirely from high-quality fresh milk sources from TH’s high-tech farms in Moscow and Kaluga Provinces. Thanks to the imported high-yield dairy cow genes from the US, advanced technology, and modern management science, TH’s dairy herd in Russia has an average milk yield of 40-41 liters/cow/day, with some cows producing 60-90 liters/day, and a record of 104 liters/day. The milk quality is also superior, with 4.0% fat and 3.2% protein, the highest in Russia.
Before the inauguration of the TH Fresh Milk Processing Plant in Kaluga, TH’s fresh milk raw materials were rated “First Class” and purchased at good prices by major Russian dairy companies such as Danone and PepsiCo… Currently, TH’s total dairy herd in Kaluga and Moscow has reached nearly 10,000 cows.
It is known that after phase 1, TH Group will continue to implement phase 2 of the plant to reach a total capacity of 1,000 tons/day by 2026. At the same time, the group plans to start constructing farm K2 in Kaluga and continue dairy farming and fresh milk processing activities in Primorye (Far East) and the Republic of Bashkortostan.

TH true MILK products manufactured in Russia are also aimed at exporting to regional and international markets.
TH true MILK products manufactured in Russia not only serve the domestic Russian market of nearly 145 million people but also target exports to regional and international markets such as BRICS and Asia-Pacific. TH Group also aims to develop organic products according to international standards in Russia.
By pioneering the introduction of high-tech closed-loop agriculture into Russia and applying world-leading technologies in herd management, veterinary care, feed production, and milk processing, TH Group has not only brought superior productivity and quality to TH’s dairy herd and competitiveness to TH true MILK products but also contributed to promoting the modernization and technical advancement of Russia’s entire agricultural sector, in line with the government’s “Digital Agriculture” development orientation.
The project’s progress has positively impacted the economy and society, contributing to the restructuring of the agricultural sector, reviving tens of thousands of hectares of abandoned agricultural land in Moscow and Kaluga into fertile fields, creating more than 500 jobs for Russian workers, and becoming a meaningful symbol of “people-to-people diplomacy.”
