As the mercury soared to 38-40°C in many southern provinces during the first few days of May, the scorching heat left people exhausted. “Long Châu Sẻ Chia – Giải Nhiệt Nắng Hè,” a program by FPT Long Châu Pharmacy and Vaccination system, offered a much-needed respite. With small tables set up in cities like Ho Chi Minh, Can Tho, and Binh Duong, the team extended a warm invitation: “Please have some cool water and take a break.”
A Refreshing Gesture, A Heartwarming Gift
The distribution of free water bottles at the gates of hospitals like Chợ Rẫy, Bạch Mai, and Ung Bướu left a lasting impression. This simple yet meaningful act of kindness created a heartwarming moment in the hustle and bustle of daily life and the hospital environment. Thousands of free water bottles were distributed across more than 10 locations nationwide.
The Long Châu team, comprising pharmacists, nurses, and doctors, worked together harmoniously, forming a “chain of love” to serve the community. Everyone was welcomed with a smile and an invitation: “Please have some water,” “Here’s a free bottle of water for you,” regardless of whether they were outpatients, patient’s families, street vendors, hospital security guards, or medical volunteers.

This simple act of kindness evoked emotions, sincere words of gratitude, and smiles that seemed rare in a hospital setting. It was more than just water; it was a source of encouragement and a “vitamin boost” for the soul, providing comfort during exhausting moments.
