## Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones Authority Hosts a Business Dialogue Conference
On May 23, the Da Nang Industrial Zones Authority organized a Business Dialogue Conference for 2025, themed “Dialogue for Solutions – Connect for Development.” The event attracted over 200 businesses operating in the Hi-Tech Park, industrial zones, and the IT Concentration Zone in Da Nang city.
Mr. Vu Quang Hung, Head of the Management Board of Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones, delivered the opening speech, emphasizing the crucial role of enterprises, particularly the private sector, in the country’s socio-economic development. He acknowledged the business community as the nucleus of innovation, playing a pioneering role in digital transformation, green development, and international integration.

Mr. Hung highlighted Da Nang’s commitment to accompanying businesses as a central task of the city government, especially after the Politburo issued four significant resolutions, known as the “Quadruple Pillars.” These include Resolution 57 on science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation; Resolution 59 on international integration; Resolution 66 on完善法律和制度; and Resolution 68 on private economic development.
These resolutions firmly establish the central position of enterprises in the country’s new development model and mandate a shift in the mindset of government authorities from management to service, and from administration to innovation. Thus, this conference not only serves as a platform to receive feedback but also as an opportunity for the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones Authority to evaluate its governance methods, improve its service capabilities, and unlock investment potential for Da Nang’s new phase of development.
The conference featured discussions on various topics of interest to enterprises, including the risks posed by US tariff policies and recommendations for businesses, the vision and regional linkage in developing the Hoa Ninh Industrial Zone, the application of science and technology in creating a green industrial zone, and a demonstration of BIM technology and a smart infrastructure management platform.
Notably, during the focused dialogue and open discussion sessions, businesses candidly addressed crucial issues such as legal obstacles related to land, investment procedures, rent reduction regulations, technology policies, environmental matters, human resources, and administrative reforms. They also proposed solutions regarding social housing for workers, challenges in recruiting blue-collar workers, and promoting internships for students in enterprises.
Representatives from relevant agencies and departments provided direct responses, exchanged information, and committed to addressing the valid concerns of businesses to resolve their difficulties promptly.
In his concluding remarks, Mr. Vu Quang Hung, Head of the Management Board, affirmed the swift compilation of the enterprises’ recommendations, categorizing the content, and coordinating with relevant agencies to implement appropriate and timely solutions.
Mr. Hung informed the enterprises that Da Nang city proactively applies technology in governance, such as infrastructure digitization, the development of an online public service portal, and the implementation of a “one-contact point – one procedure – one result” model, to reduce time and costs and enhance investment efficiency. The Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones Authority is currently managing four strategic pillars: the Hi-Tech Park, the IT Concentration Zone, the system of industrial zones, and the Free Trade Zone – a model first proposed for pilot implementation nationwide.
In the future, the Authority will take over the management of three operating industrial zones and ten planned zones in Quang Nam province, following the expansion of Da Nang’s development space after the merger. This strategic move presents both opportunities and challenges, requiring an innovative operating model, enhanced coordination and investment promotion capabilities, procedural reforms, and stronger collaboration from the business community.
Currently, advanced technologies such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), Geographic Information System (GIS), and extended applications like Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Digital Twin are being integrated into the planning, management, and operation of the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park. These technologies will be further applied to new industrial zones and the Free Trade Zone in Da Nang city, contributing to improved management efficiency and sustainable development.
