Vingroup JSC (HOSE: VIC) announces its acquisition of all shares in VinIT Information Technology Solutions JSC from Vinhomes JSC.
Following the transaction, Vingroup directly owns 79% of VinIT’s charter capital. Vinhomes is no longer a shareholder and will not consolidate VinIT into its consolidated financial statements.
VinIT, formerly known as VINTNET Transmission Infrastructure JSC, was established in August 2011 and later renamed to VinIT Information Technology Solutions and Transmission Infrastructure JSC.
The company has a charter capital of VND 50 billion. Its main business areas include data processing, telecommunications infrastructure development, and IT services.
According to Vingroup, VinIT plays a leading role in developing and providing IT services to the entire Vingroup ecosystem.
The Group has been making notable adjustments to its technology ecosystem recently.
On October 30, 2024, Vingroup spun off its subsidiary, VinAI Research and Application of Artificial Intelligence JSC, to establish Movian AI JSC with a charter capital of VND 226 billion, in which Vingroup holds a 65% stake.
In April 2025, Vingroup announced the transfer of its entire stake in Movian AI JSC (a subsidiary of VinAI) to Qualcomm Incorporated (USA).
In late 2024, Vingroup also sold VinBrain to Nvidia.
Vingroup currently has several other subsidiaries in the field of science and technology, including VinBigData, VinAI, VinHMS, VinCSS, VinIT, VinMotion, VinRobotics, VinITIS, and VinTech.
On the stock market, Vingroup’s VIC shares surged to the ceiling price of VND 91,500 per share on May 20, 2025, a gain of over 14% in just two sessions.

Previously, Vingroup’s Board of Directors passed a resolution to provide payment guarantees and utilize the Group’s owned assets as collateral for bonds issued by its subsidiary. This resolution pertains to privately placed bonds with a maximum face value of VND 6,500 billion to be issued by the subsidiary this year.
