Rồng Việt’s 18-year journey – Building a sustainable financial investment ecosystem

With the theme “Rồng Việt’s 18-year journey – Building a sustainable financial investment ecosystem”, the report not only records the relentless efforts of Rồng Việt in constructing a dynamic, modern, and responsible financial investment ecosystem but also affirms the belief that Rồng Việt has been pursuing for almost two decades: Sustainable development is not just a distant concept but concrete actions and results that create real values for stakeholders. These values are manifested in the dedication and transparency in serving customers, stable growth accompanied by profit for shareholders, a decent and growth-oriented working environment for employees, and the contribution to the market, community, and society at large – all of which shape a prosperous future together.

In 2024, Rồng Việt initiated several ESG initiatives to promote sustainable development goals, including:

  • Sustainable Governance: In November 2024, the Board of Directors issued the Sustainable Development Strategy and the Implementation Plan for Sustainable Development Activities until 2030, clearly illustrating Rồng Việt’s vision and strong commitment to balancing the company’s growth objectives with environmental protection and social responsibility. Notably, Rồng Việt developed the Sustainability Balanced Scorecard (SBSC), integrating ESG indicators based on five strategic perspectives: Financial, Customer, Internal Processes, Learning & Development, and Sustainable Development. This enables Rồng Việt to outline a specific and measurable action plan, engaging the entire organization in pursuing long-term development goals. Additionally, Rồng Việt is gradually完善ing its governance system according to the best practices in Vietnam while aspiring to meet regional and international standards such as ACGS and OECD to enhance competitiveness and transparency in corporate governance.
  • Social Responsibility: Rồng Việt actively engages in community support initiatives to spread humanitarian values and build a compassionate, equitable, and prosperous society. This includes annual programs such as “Sharing Love” and “Accompanying to School – Making Dreams Come True,” financial education programs for the younger generation like “RongViet Invest” and “Money Doesn’t Grow on Trees,” scholarship grants through the “Rồng Việt – Making Dreams Come True” program, and donations to support fellow citizens affected by Storm Yagi in northern Vietnam.
  • Environmental Protection: Rồng Việt advocates for digital innovation, process improvement, energy conservation, and environmental protection. In 2024, Rồng Việt launched the annual campaign “Rồng Việt – For a Green Vietnam” in response to the government’s initiative to plant one billion trees. Simultaneously, Rồng Việt proactively researches and develops financial products and services aligned with sustainable development goals, actively contributing to the nation’s green transition and comprehensive financial development.

Asserting its pioneering position in ESG within the Securities Industry

In December 2024, Rồng Việt was honored as one of the seven leading securities companies in ESG practices by the Vietnam Securities Business Association (VASB), in collaboration with RSM Audit and Consulting Company and the Seneca ESG technology platform. This recognition was part of a pilot project within a series of ESG assessments conducted among 34 member securities companies of VASB, aiming to raise awareness and promote ESG practices in the securities industry. The title acknowledges Rồng Việt’s long-term strategy and relentless efforts in pioneering ESG implementation within the securities sector and reaffirms its unwavering commitment to the path of sustainable development.

In parallel, Rồng Việt has been diligently working on constructing and publishing its first Sustainable Development Report. The content of the report complies with the information disclosure regulations stipulated in Circular No. 96/2020/TT-BTC while referencing global standards, including the Global Reporting Initiative’s Sustainability Reporting Guidelines (GRI Standards) – 2021 Universal Standards, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (17 SDGs), and the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) applicable to the financial services industry. The report not only demonstrates transparency and responsibility in information disclosure but also reflects the rigorous internal check and control processes that ensure the quality and accuracy of the disclosed content.

Similar to the Annual Report published in March 2025, Rồng Việt’s inaugural Sustainable Development Report is presented in both English and Vietnamese versions. This dual-language approach showcases Rồng Việt’s commitment to complying with the latest legal regulations on bilingual information disclosure, ensuring equal and timely access to information for foreign shareholders and investors.
