In his resignation letter, Mr. Truong stated that he had been appointed as a Member of the Board of Management in 2017 and as General Director from July 2, 2020. However, due to personal reasons, he is no longer able to continue his work at NSC.
Mr. Truong holds a Master’s degree in Finance and joined NSC in 2013 as the Director of Planning and Investment. In addition to his roles at NSC, he also serves as the Chairman of the Members’ Council at two subsidiary companies: Vietnam Agricultural Products Import-Export Joint Stock Company (Vina Agrifood) and Vietnam Rice Joint Stock Company (VINARICE).
Following Mr. Truong’s resignation, the NSC Board of Management appointed Deputy General Director Tran Truong Tan Tai as the person in charge of the company’s operations from June 10 until the appointment of a new General Director.
Mr. Tai has been serving as Deputy General Director of NSC since May 21, 2025. He is also the General Director of VINARICE. Mr. Tai, born in 1974, holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
NSC’s personnel changes seem to have been foreshadowed when, at the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Tra My announced that the Board of Management and Executive Committee had agreed to undertake a comprehensive restructuring of Vinaseed across all segments. The first step was to reorganize the entire organizational model, from the branch system, subsidiary companies to the executive team, to streamline, improve efficiency, and reduce redundancy. At the same time, a review of all expenses across segments will be conducted, especially transportation and packaging costs, leveraging the advantages of the PAN Group ecosystem.
