The event attracted nearly 1,000 Vietnamese experts from the fields of technology, data, finance, and management, further cementing Techcombank’s pioneering position in “reversing the brain drain.” This initiative contributes to bringing Vietnamese intellectual resources back to their homeland to shape the future together.

The next destination in the Overseas Talent Roadshow 2025 will be Paris, France. Techcombank and its ecosystem partners aim to offer a diverse range of career opportunities beyond traditional banking to thousands of international Vietnamese candidates.

A highlight of the program was Mr. Jens Lottner’s presentation on Vietnam’s macroeconomic prospects, which was deemed insightful and enlightening for the Vietnamese expatriate community considering their return journey.

“The Overseas Talent Roadshow 2025 was an impressive event – well-organized, practical, and inspiring. I appreciate the clear strategic direction, the openness in communication, and especially the direct involvement of senior leaders. It didn’t feel like just an introductory session; instead, it felt like we were all embarking on a collaborative journey – where leaders, HR teams, and candidates listened and connected with a shared goal.” – Khoa Nguyen, a participant at the Los Angeles event.

Prior to the Los Angeles event, Techcombank successfully hosted the Techcombank Info Day, an online sharing session to connect and reach out to potential candidates across the United States. Mr. Prasenjit Chakravarti, Group Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer, along with Techcombank employees who had returned from previous campaigns and representatives from the Human Resources Management Division, joined this event.

The first-hand accounts of returning to Vietnam to work, integrating into the organizational culture, and advancing their careers at Techcombank inspired the overseas Vietnamese community.

Following the success in the United States, the upcoming talent attraction event in Paris is scheduled for July 4–5, 2025, targeting the excellent Vietnamese community in Europe, particularly in the fields of technology, data, finance, and insurance.

Techcombank not only aims to connect with exceptional individuals but also aspires to ignite their national pride, arouse their desire to contribute, and encourage their return to Vietnam, which is entering an era of comprehensive growth and transformation.

As the domestic market opens up more international opportunities, the return of global talents will be a pivotal driving force to realize the national vision and Techcombank’s ecosystem development strategy. Investing in human resources remains a key strategy in the bank’s development from now until 2030 and beyond.

Since 2022, Techcombank has been conducting campaigns to attract international Vietnamese talents in key markets such as Singapore, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Australia. Each year, the campaign expands in scale and strategic depth, seeking individuals with a DNA of superior aspirations – those who dare to think big, take risks, and are ready to join hands for personal, organizational, and national development.

Beyond recruitment for Techcombank, the bank extends its talent attraction strategy to its entire ecosystem. This move is crucial in building an international-standard human resource ecosystem, where work standards, professional capabilities, and organizational culture are shaped according to global benchmarks.

With this orientation, Techcombank focuses on developing modern human resource policies that emphasize proactiveness, flexibility, and comprehensive development. This creates an ideal environment for global Vietnamese talents aspiring to return home and make long-term contributions.

In this context, the Overseas Talent Roadshow serves as a strategic link, demonstrating Techcombank’s commitment to proactively reaching out to the global Vietnamese talent community, especially those living, studying, and working in international economic centers. The event not only connects and inspires but also opens doors for overseas Vietnamese to understand better the vision, opportunities, and their role in the transformative journey of Vietnam’s financial-technology-real estate ecosystem.

At Techcombank, talents are not only given opportunities but also provided with comprehensive development. The bank has established a training system and enhanced specialized capabilities through programs such as TechcomPACE, LEAP, TechcomRISE, Changing Mindset, and over 246 courses annually from international platforms like LinkedIn Learning, AWS, and Skillsoft…

In addition, practical welfare policies, including the An Cu (Home-owning Support) and Rent-to-Own programs and competitive performance bonuses, enable employees to pursue sustainable career development in Vietnam with peace of mind.

Currently, over 13,000 employees work in an international-standard environment, applying the comprehensive Agile model, making Techcombank the “Best Place to Work in Vietnam” and one of the “Top 9 Best Workplaces in Asia 2024” (according to Great Place to Work).
