Pacific Thang Long JSC, formerly a limited company, was established as a joint venture between Thang Long GTC JSC (formerly Thang Long GTC LLC) and Janakpur Limited in 2005, with a chartered capital of 17 million USD. Thang Long GTC held a 29% stake, while Janakpur Limited contributed the remaining 71%. The company was formed with the objective of investing in the Giảng Võ complex project located at 15-17 Ngọc Khánh.

As per the latest updates from early April this year, Pacific Thang Long registered 63 employees and appointed Mr. Vu Quoc Tri as the new General Director, replacing Mr. Ta Minh Hung. Mr. Tri, along with Ms. Khuc Thi Quynh Lam (Chairwoman of the Board of Directors), also serves as the legal representative of the company.

At the 2024 Annual General Meeting of Thang Long GTC, Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, representing the state-owned enterprise Hanoitourist, raised certain pending issues for the Board of Directors of Thang Long GTC to address during 2024. One of the key points was the request for the company to divest its entire capital contribution in the investor-owner of the 15-17 Ngọc Khánh project.

In February this year, Thang Long GTC announced the sale of a 29% stake in Pacific Thang Long. The outcome of this transaction has not been disclosed, apart from the aforementioned change in the General Director position.
