A set of images and clips featuring a vehicle strikingly similar to the VinFast VF 9, heavily camouflaged, has been circulating widely on social media. Despite the dense camouflage, the distinctive design elements of the side windows and rims confirm that this is indeed the VF 9 or a new model, a derivative of VinFast’s largest SUV.

At first glance, it’s challenging to spot any differences between the test vehicle’s rear and sides and those of the VF 9 currently on the market. However, the front of the car has received a design update. Specifically, the camouflaged vehicle features a daytime running LED strip that is separate from the main headlights, similar to the design on the VF 6 and VF 7. The lighting cluster, with four small internal LEDs, is now positioned lower and detached from the daytime running lights.
Such subtle design changes are often seen in major mid-life updates (facelifts) of a model. It is possible that this is the VinFast VF 9 facelift.

Meanwhile, VinFast’s official fan page posted a short clip with the caption, “June 20 – Get ready for a unique and exceptional experience with VinFast VF 9.” The clip also includes the phrase “Unique Masterpiece,” suggesting that this could be a special edition of the VF 9. The vehicle in the clip resembles the VF 9 concept car and may not be the actual image of the special edition.
Previously, the VF 7 and VF 8 had “Unique Fire Dragon” editions, but the changes were limited to exterior color combinations. According to a VinFast sales consultant’s prediction, the VF 9 special edition could feature significant interior modifications, making it more luxurious and “exceptional.”

The VF 9 is VinFast’s flagship SUV, first introduced in 2022. This model is not only sold in Vietnam but has also made its way to the US, Canada, and Europe.
With dimensions larger than the Ford Explorer or VW Teramont, the VF 9 offers two interior configurations: a 6-seater with a captain’s chair and a 7-seater. This has sparked rumors about a possible VF 9 special edition with refined interiors, emphasizing luxury and convenience. Some notable convenience features on the current VF 9 include a captain’s chair with massage, heating, ventilation, and an individual 8-inch screen, a 15.6-inch entertainment screen, tri-zone automatic climate control, air filtration, and a premium panoramic sunroof…
