The automotive world is abuzz with intrigue as mysterious images of an unfamiliar vehicle surface online. This enigmatic automobile is believed to be a derivative of the VF 9, showcasing distinct alterations to its body, front, and rear design.
As more crystal-clear images of this vehicle emerge, anticipation builds towards an imminent official unveiling. The latest snapshots reveal intriguing design choices, particularly in the front grille and air vent configurations, which deviate from the current Vinfast lineup.

The side air vents appear to be a work in progress.
The front end showcases a radical departure from the norm, featuring a distinctive grille and air vent arrangement unseen on current Vinfast models. However, upon closer inspection, these elements appear unfinished. While the grille boasts metallic bright bars accented with black vertical slats, the side air vents remain unembellished, lacking dimensionality.

Aside from the grille and vents, the vehicle also sports unconventional LED daytime running lights. In contrast to the wing-shaped lights on the standard VF 9, these new lights are longer and almost seamlessly connected.

Earlier leaks also hinted at a golden metallic logo positioned between the LED lights at the front. These images were blurry, revealing only the vague outline of what appeared to be a stylized “V.”

The rear side air vents also seem to be a work in progress.
Adding to the intrigue, a photo taken from the rear of the vehicle has also surfaced online. This image reveals that the air vent detail at the back may not be finalized either, although it does provide a clearer view of the golden logo, which appears to be a variation of the VinFast emblem.
The low-resolution image also suggests that the vehicle’s name, likely emblazoned in golden metallic lettering, is longer than that of the standard VF 9.

While the front lighting assembly has undergone significant changes, the rear lighting appears largely unchanged from the production model. However, upon closer inspection, one can discern subtle alterations to the rear bumper.

Earlier sightings of this enigmatic vehicle also revealed an extended wheelbase, reminiscent of VinFast’s approach with the Lux SA2.0 President edition. Globally, stretching the wheelbase or lengthening the body is a common practice among automakers when crafting more luxurious variants.
With its refined and robust aesthetic, online speculation mounts that this vehicle is intended for high-ranking officials rather than mass production. Netizens also conjecture that the car will be reinforced with bulletproof capabilities, befitting its presumed role.
VinFast has not released any official statements regarding this vehicle. All information circulating on social media remains unverified at this time.

It is not uncommon for domestic automakers to craft exclusive models for high-ranking officials or heads of state. One notable example is the Cadillac One, produced by General Motors exclusively for the President of the United States.
Other instances include the Hongqi N701 in China, the Aurus Senat in Russia, and the DS 7 Crossback in France, all of which are manufactured by domestic brands for their respective nations’ leaders.
When high-ranking officials opt for vehicles produced by domestic brands, it carries significant symbolic weight, showcasing national pride, endorsing local products, and promoting the country’s automotive industry.
