Bamboo Airways’ parent company, Tre Viet Aviation Joint Stock Company (BAV), has released documents in preparation for an upcoming extraordinary general meeting of shareholders, scheduled for July 5th. The focus of the meeting will be on changes to the airline’s Board of Directors and Supervisory Board.

Bamboo Airways’ Chairman of the Board of Directors, Phan Dinh Tue

Notably, the Board of Directors is proposing the resignation of Mr. Phan Dinh Tue, as per his resignation letter submitted to the company. This decision will take effect upon the official approval of the shareholders’ meeting.

Currently, the Bamboo Airways Board of Directors comprises five members: Mr. Phan Dinh Tue, Le Thai Sam, Nguyen Ngoc Trong, Le Ba Nguyen, and Le Thi Truc Quynh.

To fill the vacancy left by Mr. Tue, the airline plans to elect one new member to the Board of Directors for the 2023-2028 term. However, the candidate list for this crucial position remains undisclosed by the airline.

Mr. Tue’s journey with Bamboo Airways began in June 2023 when he joined as a member of the Board of Directors. He was later promoted to the position of Vice Chairman before assuming the role of Chairman in February 2024.

Mr. Phan Dinh Tue brings a wealth of experience in finance and banking, having served as Vice President of Sacombank since 2012.
