Bamboo Airways welcomes back Mr. Truong Phuong Thanh, who rejoins the company as Deputy General Director. Mr. Thanh brings with him a wealth of experience, having previously held the same position at the airline from 2019 to 2024. During his previous tenure, he was in charge of ground operations, a critical area that directly impacts passenger experience and the airline’s on-time performance.

With over 24 years of experience in the aviation industry, Mr. Thanh has held several important positions at both domestic and international aviation businesses. Prior to joining Bamboo Airways, he served as Deputy General Director of Vietnam Airport Ground Services Company (VIAGS) and Director of Danang Airport Ground Services Company (DIAGS), among other leadership roles.
Ms. Le Thi Truc Quynh, Member of the Board of Directors and Deputy General Director of Bamboo Airways, shared that welcoming back familiar and experienced personnel is a logical step as the company completes the initial phase of its restructuring process.
At the appointment ceremony, Mr. Thanh expressed his appreciation for Bamboo Airways’ continued commitment to on-time performance and service quality: “These two factors are of utmost importance, and we must strive to maintain them at all times.”
On the same day, Bamboo Airways also appointed Mr. Tran Minh Viet to lead the Information Technology Division and Mr. Vu Minh Tuan to head the Finance and Accounting Division.
Currently, Bamboo Airways maintains stable operations with its narrow-body fleet, focusing on trunk and tourism connecting routes, both domestically and internationally.
