Gozo Express Seals Deal for 2,000 VinFast EC Vans
On June 18, 2025, Gozo Express formally partnered with VinFast through GSM to purchase the first batch of 2,000 EC Van electric vehicles.
As per the collaboration agreement, Gozo has made an initial deposit for 500 vehicles, with plans to take delivery of all 2,000 VinFast EC Vans from Xanh SM within 2025.
The entire fleet of VinFast EC Vans will be painted in a deep green shade, reflecting Gozo Express’s new brand identity, and integrated into the company’s delivery network, serving routes in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, with plans to expand nationwide.
This is the first large-scale deal in Vietnam’s logistics industry for electric vehicles, and it’s a significant step forward for the country’s transportation sector.
Phan Duy Minh, CEO of Gozo, shared that the decision to choose VinFast’s electric vehicles was based on a comprehensive evaluation of their operational efficiency: a 40% fuel cost saving, minimal urban emissions, low maintenance, and high performance.
“This is not just a one-off vehicle purchase,” emphasized the CEO of Gozo Express. “We view this as a strategic boost to systematize our entire operation with new ESG standards, from philosophy and tools to behavior.”
Gozo has connected its entire electric fleet to a technology platform that monitors operations, providing real-time insights into trip management, productivity, fuel costs, and compliance for each vehicle.
Mr. Minh explained that the electric vehicle implementation mechanism is designed to be flexible: “As we expand our postal network, our electric vehicles will follow suit.” The approach is tailored to each area’s infrastructure and practical conditions, avoiding a one-size-fits-all implementation.
“Of course, challenges are inevitable, ranging from charging infrastructure and staff training to schedule adjustments. Yet, each new deployment is an opportunity for Gozo to test, fine-tune, and standardize our entire system,” he shared.

Gozo Express Expands Its Reach
With over five years of experience, Gozo Express has established a strong presence in all 63 provinces of Vietnam, offering international super-express delivery services. The company handles more than 10,000 parcels monthly, reaching over 200 countries worldwide.
One of Gozo’s key competitive advantages in the Vietnamese market is its ability to offer rates that are 30-40% lower than its competitors.
In May, Gozo Express introduced the first international express delivery postal bureau franchise model in Vietnam, with no bureau franchise fees.
Gozo aims to expand its global postal bureau franchise network and has already signed agreements with three international partners from Thailand (Allcon Express and World Trade) and South Korea (YJS Logistics).
Following its brand repositioning in May, the company plans to reinforce its presence in Thailand with a local brand repositioning strategy.
