On the afternoon of June 18, Vice Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, along with a central working delegation, attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the FPT Education Complex in Thai Hoa ward, Tan Uyen city, Binh Duong province.
In his speech at the ceremony, Vice Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh commended Binh Duong’s determination in building an innovative ecosystem, with education playing a central role, and focusing on three pillars: digital infrastructure, digital workforce, and digital institutions. He also highly appreciated FPT’s investment in a large-scale education complex in Binh Duong, reflecting their long-term vision and social responsibility as the country is undergoing significant transformations.

With a natural area of nearly 2,700 km², a population of over 1.8 million, and a well-developed economic, industrial, and logistics infrastructure that attracts domestic and foreign investment, Binh Duong is known for its strategic location and rapid growth, ranking among the fastest in the country.
As the country embarks on implementing the Quad Strategy, comprising scientific and technological development, innovation and national digital transformation (Resolution 57), international integration (Resolution 59), law building and enforcement (Resolution 66), and private economic development (Resolution 68), Binh Duong is pushing forward with several key programs to localize this orientation.
The FPT Education Complex in Binh Duong, which broke ground on June 18, is a key project aligned with the locality’s development orientation. The project is located in Thai Hoa ward, Tan Uyen city, on a site of over 84,000 m², with a total floor area of approximately 130,000 m². The complex includes lecture halls, dormitories, a multi-purpose service area, a standard football field, and auxiliary items, providing comprehensive learning and living amenities for students.

Following the architectural characteristics of FPT educational institutions in the Southern region, the Binh Duong complex blends a design inspired by the atomic structure network with the distinctive landscape of the Southeast region. This complex also forms an educational ecosystem encompassing primary, secondary, and higher education, with a strong focus on digital transformation.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee of Binh Duong, affirmed, “This is not just a construction project, but also a place to nurture the talents of thousands of students and technology enthusiasts in the Southeast region.”
He also highly appreciated FPT’s well-invested and long-term strategy for education development, emphasizing its role in training global citizens and positively contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality and the region.
The FPT Education Complex in Binh Duong is expected to become a key educational project, bearing the regional imprint and closely associated with the long-term orientation that the Southeast region and the country are aiming for.
Along with industry, logistics, and smart city development, the knowledge industry and education are core foundations for Binh Duong to stride forward in the new era, alongside other key provinces and cities.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, CEO of FPT Corporation, shared, “This project demonstrates FPT’s long-term commitment to the sustainable development of Binh Duong province and the country. We believe that education is the foundation for realizing the Quad Strategy, encompassing scientific and technological development, innovation and national digital transformation, international integration, law building and enforcement, and private economic development. The FPT Education Complex in Binh Duong sets an important precedent for creating a modern learning environment for students, increasing access to international standard training programs in advanced technology fields, and contributing to enhancing the quality of education in the locality. The integration of modern technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), data science, and STEAM into the curriculum exemplifies FPT’s pioneering approach to educational reform.
The project also marks a notable milestone in FPT’s remarkable development in the field of education, both in terms of scale and long-term orientation. Currently, the FPT education system is present in 17 out of 34 provinces and cities nationwide, with nearly 90 training facilities and a student body of almost 145,000.
It is expected that Phase 1 of the project, including the topping out of lecture halls, dormitories, a multi-purpose house, and part of the technical infrastructure, will be completed in the first quarter of 2026 and will be operational by the third quarter of 2026.
