North Bac Ninh Province Invites Bids for New Urban Area Project in Dinh Bang Ward
The People’s Committee of Bac Ninh province has recently announced an invitation for bids for a new urban area project in Dinh Bang ward, Tu Son city. The project is currently open for international competitive bidding to select an investor.
The project boasts a total investment capital of VND 9,568 billion and is expected to utilize an area of approximately 52.55 hectares. With a planned population of around 5,407 people, the project’s detailed 1/500 planning will be approved by the competent authorities.
Located in Dinh Bang ward, Tu Son city, Bac Ninh, the project has a proposed operation duration of 50 years, commencing from the date of the competent authority’s decision to allocate or lease land as per the land law regulations.
The preparation and implementation of the project are expected to take 6.5 years (78 months) from the date of selecting the investor.

Real estate giants Vingroup and Sun Group have recently been awarded contracts for new urban area projects in the province. Prior to this, these two prominent developers had proposed investments in Bac Ninh.
In addition, Phu My Hung is developing the Hong Hac Urban Area (Hong Hac City) in Thuan Thanh town, Bac Ninh province. The enterprise is currently releasing the project’s first phase to the market, offering a range of commercial houses, adjacent houses, and twin villas.
Previously, the People’s Committee of Bac Ninh province organized a conference to urge progress and implement investment plans for seven new urban area projects that have already selected investors.
The largest-scale project among these is the Tay Bac Bac Ninh New Urban Area (Zone 1), with a total investment of over VND 41,270 billion. This project is undertaken by a consortium led by Vingroup and covers an area of nearly 270 hectares in Hoa Long ward, Bac Ninh city. The remaining projects are smaller in scale and are located in Bac Ninh city, Tu Son, and Tien Du, with a combined investment capital of VND 104,961 billion.
Moreover, Bac Ninh has also approved investment policies for a series of new urban area projects within the province.
In tandem with the urban development projects, Bac Ninh is also constructing the Gia Binh International Airport, which was approved in the master plan for the development of the national airport and airfield system for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision towards 2050. The total estimated investment cost for this airport project is approximately VND 29,765 billion.
