Vinhomes Green Paradise Project Rendering

On June 23rd, Vincom Retail JSC (VRE) issued a resolution approving the signing of a deposit agreement between VRE and Can Gio Tourism Urban JSC (a subsidiary of Vingroup) for the transfer of a portion of the expanded Can Gio Sea Reclamation Tourism Urban Area project – Vinhomes Green Paradise, in Long Hoa and Can Thanh Town, Can Gio District, Ho Chi Minh City, to develop the company’s commercial and service land fund.

The Can Gio Sea Reclamation Tourism Urban Area project – Vinhomes Green Paradise, with a total area of 2,870 ha, was just inaugurated on April 19th.

The project is a Group A construction with a 50-year lifespan. The Can Gio sea reclamation urban area will be developed into a sea tourism and resort area, a conference and seminar venue, a smart city, a high-tech service area, residential areas, and other services, including hotels.

As per the decision, the project has a sea reclamation scope of approximately 1,357 ha and is scheduled for completion by 2031. It includes land leveling, lake, and sea dike designs.

The project is divided into four sub-areas: A, B, C, and D-E, with a population capacity of nearly 230,000 people and the ability to accommodate 8-9 million tourists annually.

Sub-area A spans about 950 ha, bordering the East Sea (Dong Tranh River mouth) on one side and Can Thanh Town on the other. This area will be an ecological residential zone integrated with tourism services at the gateway to the Can Gio sea tourism urban area.

Sub-area B covers nearly 660 ha, with one side bordering the East Sea and the other adjacent to the internal road along the 30/4 sea tourism area. This sub-area is planned for tourism resort development, urban public service and utility infrastructure…

Sub-area C spans 318 ha, with two sea-facing sides, and is planned to be a financial, economic, commercial, and service center, as well as an office and port area, and a modern urban area (villas, terraced houses, and apartments).

Sub-area D covers approximately 480 ha, and Sub-area E covers about 458 ha (green space and water surface). Sub-area D is planned as a high-end commercial and resort center, a modern and smart urban area with residential areas (terraced houses and villas). Sub-area E, on the other hand, is allocated for urban-level water, canals, and green spaces.

In recent times, to enhance infrastructure connectivity with Can Gio District, the VinGroup Corporation has also proposed investing in a 48.5 km high-speed railway connecting Ho Chi Minh City’s center with Can Gio, with an estimated investment of over 102,000 billion VND (over 4 billion USD) according to preliminary studies.
