Nguyen Viet Quang, CEO of Vingroup, shared that in less than seven months since its inception, VinFast has completed and operated a second modern electric car factory in Vietnam, setting a record in factory completion progress. This once again clearly demonstrates the spirit of “Speed – Determination – Effectiveness.”

The VinFast Ha Tinh electric car factory spans 360,000 square meters and comprises main workshops for body welding, painting, assembly, and various modern auxiliary areas. The production line is highly automated and operates according to strict international standards in quality management, environmental protection, and global automotive industry norms.

By constructing an auxiliary industrial cluster within the factory premises and attracting domestic enterprises to join the supply chain, VinFast Ha Tinh also contributes to realizing VinFast’s localization goal of over 80% by 2026.

Moreover, with a commitment to sustainable development and a “Green Vietnam” vision, VinFast has oriented its factory operations towards a green, clean, and efficient model. This includes utilizing renewable energy, implementing strict emission controls, recycling materials, and gradually applying AI in management and production defect detection.

Notably, the factory is expected to generate nearly 6,000 direct jobs in the initial phase and potentially expand to 15,000 workers in the future, thereby improving the local population’s living standards and contributing to social welfare.

In the immediate future, the VinFast factory in Ha Tinh will focus on producing strategic urban electric car models such as VF 3, Minio Green, and EC Van. These models hold great potential and are designed to cater to both the domestic and international markets.

The inauguration of the VinFast Ha Tinh electric car factory marks a significant milestone in VinFast’s long-term development strategy and global production expansion. Once operational, the factory will make a substantial contribution to VinFast’s goal of producing 1 million vehicles per year to meet the rising demands of domestic and overseas markets.
