The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) has announced several key appointments, effective as of July 2025. These appointments include:

The appointment of Mrs. Nguyễn Huyền Dịu, Head of Research and Synthesis, as Deputy Director of the Monetary Policy Department for a term of five years, effective July 4.

Mr. Nguyễn Tất Thái, former Chief of Staff of the National Financial Supervision Commission, as Deputy Director of the Forecasting, Statistics, and Monetary and Financial Stability Department for a term of five years, effective July 2.

The appointment of Mr. Lê Hoàng Chính Quang as Director of the Information Technology Department, who was previously the acting director.

Additionally, the SBV Governor announced organizational and personnel decisions regarding the SBV Branch in Region 2. On July 7, the Governor presented the decision to appoint Mr. Võ Minh Tuấn as Director of the SBV Branch in Region 2.

The SBV Branch in Region 2 is responsible for managing and implementing monetary, credit, and foreign exchange policies in Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai Province, two key provinces in the Southern Key Economic Zone. Given the vast geographical area, the SBV Governor emphasized the importance of focusing on cash and vault management to ensure smooth payment operations for individuals and businesses. Moreover, the inspection work should be given special attention, combining the implementation of national monetary policies with inspection and supervision to ensure the safety of the system.
