Timely and proper disclosure of information on the stock market is the fundamental responsibility of public companies towards their shareholders and investors. This is also the first criterion in the annual IR Awards program, jointly organized by Vietstock and the Finance and Life e-Magazine, to honor listed companies with the best IR practices.
Notable Penalties for Information Disclosure Violations in July 2025
In the past month, the State Securities Commission (SSC) has imposed penalties on several companies for violations related to information disclosure. These include EverLand Group Joint Stock Company (HOSE: EVG), DRH Holdings Joint Stock Company (HOSE: DRH), No Va Real Estate Investment Group Joint Stock Company (HOSE: NVL), Hung Vuong Corporation (UPCoM: HVG), Saigon Shipping Joint Stock Company (UPCoM: SGS), Vinam Joint Stock Company (UPCoM: CVN), and Hung Thinh Incons Joint Stock Company (HOSE: HTN). The companies were penalized for failing to disclose information as required by law.
Additionally, the Vietnam Electrical Construction Joint Stock Corporation (HOSE: VNE), EVG, DRH, and HTN were fined for incomplete information disclosure, while Vietnam Export Import Commercial Joint Stock Company (HOSE: VPG), VNE, EVG, and HTN were penalized for disclosing misleading information.
