On the other hand, SHB topped the list of stocks foreign investors bought the most, with a net purchase value of VND152 billion. NVL ranked second with half the value, at VND85 billion. MSB (VND84 billion), HDB (VND78 billion), and HAH (VND70 billion) were also among the top bought stocks.

After two consecutive net selling sessions, proprietary trading of securities companies returned to net buying in the trading session on August 01, with a value of over VND 292 billion. Proactive investment capital focused on banks and large-cap stocks.

VPB was the focus of the session, with the largest net buying value of approximately VND 116.5 billion. PNJ followed with nearly VND 95 billion, and FPT with over VND 73 billion. Proprietary trading also invested in several other bank stocks, such as HDB with over VND 47 billion, TPB with about VND 45 billion, and STB and CTG with nearly VND 20 billion each, while LPB was bought for almost VND 18 billion.

On the selling side, VIB was the stock with the largest net selling value by proprietary trading, at nearly VND 180 billion. Several other stocks recorded lower net selling values, including MWG and BSR, both around VND 27-28 billion, NVL at approximately VND 18 billion, and HAH at less than VND 15 billion.
