On the afternoon of July 31, 2025, the Ministries of Industry and Trade and Finance announced adjustments to the selling prices of gasoline and oil products.

In this price adjustment, the Ministries continued to not use the Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, 0.05S diesel oil, kerosene, and fuel oil.

After the adjustment, the selling prices of popular gasoline and oil products in the market are as follows:

E5RON92 gasoline: not exceeding VND 19,401 per liter (up VND 122 per liter compared to the current base price) and VND 439 lower than RON95-III gasoline;

RON95-III gasoline: not exceeding VND 19,840 per liter (up VND 131 per liter compared to the current base price);

0.05S diesel oil: not exceeding VND 19,068 per liter (down VND 61 per liter compared to the current base price);

Kerosene: not exceeding VND 18,714 per liter (up VND 86 per liter compared to the current base price);

180CST 3.5S fuel oil: not exceeding VND 15,533 per kg (up VND 154 per kg compared to the current base price).

Domestic gasoline and oil price fluctuations from December 26, 2024, to July 31, 2025.

Regarding the reason for the gasoline and oil price increase, the Ministries stated that the world gasoline and oil market during this price adjustment period (from July 24, 2025, to July 30, 2025) was mainly influenced by factors such as: information on the framework trade agreement between the US and the EU; the increase in US crude oil inventories; and the ongoing military conflict between Russia and Ukraine. The above factors caused fluctuations in world gasoline and oil prices in recent days, with prices rising and falling depending on the product.

Specifically, the average price of world gasoline and oil products between the price adjustment period on July 24, 2025, and July 31, 2025, was as follows: $77.408 per barrel for RON92 gasoline, which is used to blend E5RON92 gasoline (up $0.592 per barrel, or 0.77%); $79.098 per barrel for RON95 gasoline (up $0.592 per barrel, or 0.75%); $88.042 per barrel for kerosene (up $0.386 per barrel, or 0.44%); $90.500 per barrel for 0.05S diesel oil (down $0.452 per barrel, or 0.50%); and $417.398 per ton for 180CST 3.5S fuel oil (up $4.932 per ton, or 1.20%).

World gasoline and oil price fluctuations from July 17, 2025, to July 23, 2025, and from July 24, 2025, to July 30, 2025.

In this price adjustment, given the above fluctuations in world gasoline and oil prices, exchange rate movements, and current regulations, the Ministries of Industry and Trade and Finance decided on a price adjustment plan to ensure that domestic gasoline and oil prices are suitable for the world gasoline and oil market. The Ministries also aim to maintain a reasonable price difference between bio-gasoline E5RON92 and mineral gasoline RON95 to encourage the use of biofuels in line with the government’s policy and to balance the interests of all market participants.
