HAGL Agrico Appoints New Vice President from THACO Agri

The Hoang Anh Gia Lai Joint Stock Company (HAGL Agrico) has announced a change in its senior management team with the appointment of Mr. Phan Ba Cuong as the new Deputy General Director, effective August 1st. Mr. Cuong steps into this role following the departure of Mr. Nguyen Hoang Phi, who has resigned from his position for personal reasons.

The decision was passed by a resolution of the Board of Directors on August 1st and took effect immediately. In his resignation letter, Mr. Phi stated that he could no longer continue his executive role at HNG due to personal reasons.

Prior to his departure from the management team, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Phi served as Deputy General Director and Member of the Board of Directors of HNG. However, with the conclusion of the 2020-2025 term of the Board of Directors since the annual general meeting in April, Mr. Phi no longer holds any positions at HNG.

Mr. Phi, born in 1980, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting and has over 20 years of experience working at Truong Hai Auto Corporation (THACO). He currently serves as the Chief Accountant of THACO, where Mr. Tran Ba Duong, Chairman of HAGL Agrico, is the top leader.

The newly appointed replacement, Mr. Phan Ba Cuong, was born in 1977 and holds a degree in Accounting. He is currently the Deputy General Director of THACO Agri, the unit in charge of agriculture in the THACO ecosystem.

At HNG, Mr. Cuong does not hold any shares or previously assumed positions. In addition to his executive role, Mr. Cuong has also been authorized as the Enterprise’s information disclosure person since August 1st.
