Vietnam’s government is set to discuss amendments to Decree 103/2024/ND-CP, which pertains to land use and rental fees.

On August 5, 2025, at 2 pm, the Government Office will hold a meeting to gather opinions on the draft amendment to Decree 103/2024/ND-CP, which stipulates land use and rental fees. This meeting will be attended by leaders from various ministries, agencies, and local governments.

The meeting will take place at the Government Headquarters and the People’s Committee Headquarters of provinces and cities. The Government Headquarters session will include the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, the Minister of Finance, and leaders from relevant ministries and associations, including the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Vietnam Real Estate Association, and the Ho Chi Minh City Real Estate Association.

At the local level, the meeting will be attended by leaders and representatives from related departments of 17 provinces and cities, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Danang, Hai Phong, Can Tho, Ninh Binh, Hung Yen, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, Lam Dong, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, and Ca Mau.

The Government Office has requested the Ministry of Finance to prepare 30 sets of documents and reports for distribution at the Government Headquarters session. Attendees are required to participate according to the specified composition, and each ministry or agency is allowed to have one accompanying officer as per regulations.
