Vietlott Sees Impressive Profits in the First Half of 2025
Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) has reported impressive business results for the first half of 2025, with a recorded revenue of VND 4,565 billion , averaging approximately VND 25 billion per day, a 12% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
This growth is largely attributed to the matrix-based lottery, contributing nearly VND 2,700 billion (accounting for 56% of the total revenue). The quick draw and sequential number lotteries also brought in VND 1,755 billion and VND 242 billion , respectively.

According to Vietlott representatives, this double-digit growth is a result of maintaining the Jackpot value at hundreds of billions of dong, the stability of both traditional and phone-based distribution channels, the launch of the new Lotto 5/35 product, and attracting Gen Z customers.
In terms of expenses, Vietlott spent nearly VND 2,500 billion (an increase of 11%) on prizes for players, indicating an increase in the number and value of prizes.
Additionally, the company allocated VND 425 billion for agent commissions and nearly VND 300 billion for lottery operating expenses.
After deducting expenses, Vietlott recorded a pre-tax profit of VND 244 billion and a net profit of nearly VND 196 billion , a 15% increase compared to the previous year.
As per the plan assigned by the Ministry of Finance, Vietlott is expected to achieve a revenue of VND 8,750 billion and a pre-tax profit of VND 305 billion this year. Thus, the company has accomplished 52% of the revenue target and about 80% of the profit target for the whole year.
In the previous year, 2024 , Vietlott achieved a revenue of VND 7,915 billion, corresponding to an average daily revenue of VND 21.68 billion .
Which Vietlott Distribution Channel is the Most Profitable?
According to reports, Vietlott’s revenue is distributed across channels and products as follows:
Traditional agent channels account for approximately 53% of revenue. At the end of 2024, Vietlott had approximately 6,300 sales points. Currently, this channel has expanded to over 6,620 points.
The phone-based ticket sales channel (SMS, applications) contributes about 47% of revenue. As of May 2025, this channel had over 3 million registered accounts for prize drawing. This channel is linked to major mobile network providers, including Viettel, MobiFone, and VinaPhone.
By product: The matrix-based lottery (Mega 6/45, Power 6/55) contributes the most, accounting for approximately 56-57% of revenue.
The quick draw lottery (Keno) and sequential number lottery (Max 3D, Max 4D) make up the remaining portion of the revenue.
