Mr. Beat Schuerch, a Swiss national, previously held this position. Mr. Beat joined Dragon Capital in 2010 as Deputy General Director of Operations and was appointed CEO in December 2017.
After stepping down from the executive role, Mr. Beat Schuerch will remain a Member of the Board of Directors of Dragon Capital Group and DCVFM. He will also accompany the leadership team during the transition phase and continue to contribute to the company’s long-term strategic orientation.
Dr. Le Anh Tuan joined Dragon Capital in 2008 as Chief Economist. In 2010, he became the Director of Research and was appointed Deputy Director of Investments in 2016. In 2017, he took on the role of co-portfolio manager of the IPO and private placement platform before officially assuming the position of Chief Investment Officer (CIO) in January 2023.
In this role, he oversees the Investment Committee of all equity and fixed-income funds managed by Dragon Capital. Dr. Tuan holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Willamette University in the US and a Ph.D. in Economics from Pennsylvania State University, USA.
Dragon Capital is a fund management company that has been operating in Vietnam for over 30 years, even before the establishment of the Vietnamese stock market. According to their introduction, the company manages assets of over 6 billion USD.
