Notably, among the confiscated vehicles were several supercars and luxury automobiles. This included a Lamborghini Huracan Performante, a Lamborghini Urus, an Aston Martin DBX, a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, and a BMW i8.

According to the JPJ, all vehicles were seized due to common traffic offenses, including expired road tax, invalid vehicle insurance, and unregistered license plates. One of the confiscated vehicles, a Mercedes-Benz, had been operating without valid road tax or insurance since 2022.

During inspections, authorities also discovered three vehicles driven by foreigners without valid driver’s licenses. One of the two drivers carried an international driving permit, but further examination revealed it to be counterfeit.

Senior Enforcement Director of JPJ, Muhammad Kifli Ma Hassan, stated, “Based on our observations, many vehicle owners believe they simply forgot to renew their road tax and insurance. In reality, they are disregarding traffic laws.” Similar to the previous campaign, all seized vehicles are currently being held in JPJ depots for investigation and further action under the Road Transport Act 1987 (Act 333) and related regulations.
