The period between 2020 and 2025 presented significant challenges for both the domestic and international economies. The domestic fertilizer industry faced considerable pressure due to prolonged oversupply, volatile raw material prices, and rising production costs. Despite these obstacles, PVFCCo – Phu My demonstrated resilience, maintaining stable production and comprehensively fulfilling all targets set by Petrovietnam for five consecutive years.

In terms of fertilizer production, the company supplied nearly 7 million tons, playing a crucial role in market stabilization and ensuring national food security. Additionally, the Phu My Fertilizer Plant consistently maintained safe and efficient operations.

PVFCCo – Phu My’s achievements during 2020-2025 stemmed from a strategy that integrated competition with business operations, prioritizing work efficiency and employee creativity.

This success was a result of a strategic initiative that intertwined competition with business operations, placing a strong emphasis on work efficiency and the creativity of the workforce. The spirit of competition has become a distinctive feature of PVFCCo – Phu My’s corporate culture, permeating from the factory to regional units and encompassing both management and individual employees.

Countless Initiatives Yielding Tangible Results

Countless ideas and initiatives spanning various domains, including production, business, communications, governance, human resource development, and health, safety, and the environment, have been proposed and effectively implemented. This testifies to the unity, discipline, creativity, and relentless innovation of the collective.

At PVFCCo – Phu My, the competition is not about superficial achievements or personal gains. Instead, it fosters a collaborative spirit, where support and mutual development are paramount, and no one is left behind. Competition serves as a means for each employee to become a better version of themselves and for the collective to thrive in unity and sustainability.

Initiatives such as “Creative Labor,” “STOP Card Recording,” and “Early Finish” have been enthusiastically embraced by employees, along with various thematic competitions tailored to specific events and tasks.

The “Three Best” movement, encompassing the best in safety, efficiency, and progress in factory maintenance and repair, has become synonymous with PVFCCo – Phu My’s brand. Notably, the comprehensive factory maintenance periods in 2021 and 2023 witnessed a total of 844 initiatives, with rewards exceeding VND 420 million. These initiatives contributed to shortened schedules, reduced costs, and enhanced operational efficiency.

Over the past five years, the company recognized 656 technical innovations and improvements, generating nearly VND 284 billion in benefits. Remarkably, the value of improvements reached a record high of nearly VND 204 billion in 2024, vividly illustrating the effectiveness of using competition as a lever to enhance work efficiency.

To acknowledge these efforts, PVFCCo – Phu My implemented an objective, transparent, and substantive reward system over the last five years. More than 4,000 certificates of merit, nearly 9,000 “Advanced Workers” titles, and almost 700 “Excellent Performance” honors have been bestowed upon exemplary individuals and teams.

Embarking Towards Green Agriculture

Looking ahead to the 2026-2030 period, PVFCCo – Phu My aims to maintain its leading position in fertilizer production while expanding into the realm of basic chemical and organic fertilizer manufacturing. This expansion reflects a commitment to fostering a green, sustainable, and environmentally friendly agricultural landscape.

The company has set ambitious targets for this phase, aiming to produce over 6.4 million tons of fertilizer and nearly 900,000 tons of various chemicals. Notably, organic and biological fertilizers are expected to witness significant growth, with a determined push to reach 40,000 tons by 2030. This trajectory underscores PVFCCo – Phu My’s resolve to restructure its product portfolio towards greener and safer offerings.

The title of “Advanced Typical Collective” is a testament to the relentless efforts and innovative spirit of a collective that continuously rises above challenges.
