A Mitsubishi Xpander owner shared their maintenance bill at the 40,000 km mark in a community group, seeking advice. According to the owner, a dealership quoted them a price of over 4 million VND for the 40,000 km maintenance service, which includes items such as engine oil and filter change, brake fluid change, and combustion chamber cleaning solutions. Of course, car owners can choose to omit certain maintenance items to save costs if they deem them unnecessary.

On the other hand, the VinFast Limo Green is a newer model, so there aren’t many specific figures available from users. However, according to a VinFast VF 8 owner, the maintenance costs for electric vehicles in general and VinFast in particular are quite reasonable. At the 40,000 km mark, he spent about 500,000 VND, including the cost of replacing the air conditioner filter. If he hadn’t replaced the filter, the cost would have been only about 300,000 VND. The reason for the lower maintenance cost is that electric vehicles have a simpler structure, without the need for engine oil or many mechanical parts, so the main items are checking the battery, electrical system, brakes, and coolant…
