Suzuki Taiwan recently unveiled the captivating duo of the GSX-8T and GSX-8TT, creating a buzz in the two-wheeled enthusiast community.
Timeless Design with a Vintage Touch
Based on the popular GSX-8S naked bike, the GSX-8T and GSX-8TT showcase a classic street-tracker style, reminiscent of the iconic T500 from the 1960s. The standout features include a distinctive round headlight, a retro-styled fuel tank, classy bar-end mirrors, and an eye-catching number 8 logo—a nod to the game of billiards—embossed on the side cover.

The GSX-8TT stands out with its unique headlight cowl, blacked-out front forks, elegant cement grey bodywork, and striking red wheels. Suzuki emphasizes that the “T” in the model name stands for “Timeless,” reflecting the eternal spirit of its design.

Modern Performance and Technology
Beneath their vintage exterior, the GSX-8T and GSX-8TT are packed with cutting-edge technology. Both models are powered by a liquid-cooled, 776cc parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree crankshaft, delivering an impressive 81 horsepower and 7.95 kg-m of torque.

The motorcycles are equipped with premium suspension components from Showa, including inverted front forks and a monoshock rear setup with a multi-link design. Rider aids are comprehensive and include a quickshifter, three riding modes, traction control, and a sharp 5-inch TFT display.

Expected Pricing and Potential in Vietnam
In the UK market, the GSX-8T and GSX-8TT are priced at £9,599 and £9,999, respectively (approximately 312 and 325 million VND). For reference, the Suzuki GSX-S, currently available in Vietnam, retails for 375 million VND. Considering the international pricing, the GSX-8T and GSX-8TT are expected to be competitively priced in Vietnam, possibly ranging from 380 to 400 million VND. With their unique design and impressive specifications, these motorcycles could be game-changers in the 800cc motorcycle segment if priced strategically.
