From August 18, 2025, Bamboo Airways will officially operate all domestic flights to and from Ho Chi Minh City at Terminal 3 of Tan Son Nhat International Airport. This timing also marks the airline’s 7th anniversary and the 2nd year of implementing a comprehensive restructuring program.

Bamboo Airways moves all domestic flights to Tan Son Nhat T3 Terminal (Ho Chi Minh City) from August 18th onwards
In the initial phase, passengers can check-in at counters 45-50 (opposite gates D2 and D3) and may be expanded to counters 43-52 depending on demand. A last-minute ticketing counter at gate D2 is available for quick passenger access.
This transition is considered a strategic move to adapt to the new aviation infrastructure and reduce congestion at the old terminal. The new Terminal 3, where Bamboo Airways operates, spans 112,500 square meters, serving 20 million passengers annually. It is equipped with modern facilities, including 90 check-in counters, 20 self-check-in kiosks, 42 check-in kiosks, 27 boarding gates, and premium lounges.
To support passengers during the initial phase (August 18-25), the airline will offer free ticket changes for passengers who arrive late due to a lack of information, provided they arrive at Terminal 3 within 20 minutes of departure. If the next flight is full, passengers will be offered a free change to the nearest available flight or the next day’s flight for less frequent routes.
Bamboo Airways will communicate this information through various channels, including its website, fan page, email, SMS, and Zalo OA, and recommends that passengers stay updated to ensure a smooth journey.
Ho Chi Minh City has also inaugurated the 4-km-long Tran Quoc Hoan – Cong Hoa road, with a total investment of over VND 4,800 billion, providing a direct connection to Terminal 3 and reducing congestion in the airport area.
