A prominent southern importer of motorcycles has recently acquired a unique batch of Honda bikes, which are soon to be released to eager Vietnamese consumers.

Specifically, the company has imported four units of the Honda CB1300SF SP Final Edition, all of which have arrived in Vietnam and are awaiting customs clearance.

The Honda CB1300SF SP Final Edition: A Limited Edition Beauty

The Honda CB1300SF SP Final Edition is a special, limited-edition model based on the renowned Honda CB1300 Super Four. It captivates riders with its thrilling 4-cylinder engine and impressive performance.

As the final iteration of this iconic series, Honda discontinued its production due to tightening emission standards. With only 3,400 units produced globally, according to official information, acquiring one of these bikes requires not just financial means but also a stroke of good luck.

Despite being a modern production, the Honda CB1300SF SP Final Edition sports a retro design. It boasts a white and red color scheme, complemented by yellow front forks, classic round headlights, and a nostalgic taillight.

Adding to its old-school charm are the dual analog gauges for speed and rpm, accompanied by a small digital display indicating gear position, fuel level, time, and distance traveled.

The bike’s design and features exude a strong sense of nostalgia.

Another nod to its vintage inspiration is the use of dual rear shocks, whereas most high-performance models today favor a monoshock setup for higher-speed handling. Additionally, the bike forgoes the modern trend of inverted front forks.

With its design rooted in the 1992 Honda CB1000 Super Four, one might mistake this bike for an older model at first glance.

The CB1000 Super Four was the inaugural model in Honda’s Big-1 project, aimed at developing large-displacement motorcycles with the signature 4-cylinder engines synonymous with Japanese sports bikes.

Powering the Honda CB1300SF SP Final Edition is a DOHC 4-cylinder inline engine with a displacement of 1,284 cc, delivering 111.4 horsepower at 7,750 rpm and 111.8 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm.

Interestingly, this engine shares its foundation with the 1997 Honda X4, but Honda has meticulously refined it to meet the stringent Euro 5 emissions standards.

Sources suggest that some of these limited-edition bikes already have eager owners waiting.

Other notable features include dual front disc brakes from Brembo, Ohlins dual rear shocks, a gold chain, a 6-speed gearbox, and a 21-liter fuel tank. The bike tips the scales at 272 kg.

In Japan, each Honda CB1300SF SP Final Edition retails for approximately 350 million VND. The retail price in Vietnam is expected to be higher, although the importer has not disclosed the exact figure.
