Building a Modern and Integrated Healthcare Ecosystem Together
The collaboration between Vinmec and Vietnam National University-Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) marks a significant step forward in creating a connected ecosystem of healthcare, education, and research. This is part of Vinmec’s long-term strategy to establish an international standard training-research-clinical system in Vietnam, with VNU-HCM being one of the first units Vinmec has partnered with.
Modern healthcare is inseparable from education and science and technology. Therefore, combining clinical practice, applied research, and multidisciplinary training will provide a foundation for new breakthroughs in community healthcare.
“In the context of global development, the healthcare and wellness industries will witness a strong shift towards an integrated model of medicine and other sciences such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and more. This integration will create highly applicable scientific products to support doctors in their practice. The collaboration between a healthcare provider and an educational institution is a step towards building an innovative ecosystem for both entities,” said Professor Dr. Tran Trung Dung, CEO of Vinmec Healthcare System, regarding the current healthcare development trend.

Vinmec aims to accompany VNU-HCM in establishing an innovative ecosystem in healthcare, not only training skilled doctors but also developing scientists with a multidisciplinary and innovative mindset. This approach will enhance their flexibility in technology application and development, bringing Vietnamese medicine to a new era, quickly integrating with global medical advancements.
