Vietnam Expressway Corporation Announces Toll Collection on Ben Luc – Long Thanh Highway

Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC) has announced the commencement of toll collection and the introduction of service charges for the Ben Luc – Long Thanh Highway.

Official toll collection on the Ben Luc – Long Thanh Highway starts on August 10th

In the first half of 2025, VEC inaugurated and commenced operations on nearly 30 kilometers of the Ben Luc – Long Thanh Highway, including the western section from Ho Chi Minh City – Trung Luong Junction (Km0+600) to Nguyen Van Tao Junction (Km21+850), and the section from Phuoc An Junction (Km50+530) to National Highway 51 Junction (Km57+581).

The operational sections of the Ben Luc – Long Thanh Highway have significantly contributed to reducing traffic congestion, accidents, and pressure on the transportation system, enhancing traffic capacity, facilitating the movement of people and goods, and promoting economic development in the related areas.

On April 1st, 2025, VEC issued a decision on the service charges for the Ben Luc – Long Thanh Highway under its management and operation. The electronic toll collection system has been completed, installed, tested, and is ready for operation.

Details of Toll Charges on the Ben Luc – Long Thanh Highway

To ensure the investment efficiency of the project, production and business objectives, and cash flow for financial obligations, VEC announces the implementation of toll collection for the operational sections and the service charges for the Ben Luc – Long Thanh Highway as follows:

The service charge for using the Ben Luc – Long Thanh Highway is 2,000 VND/PCU/km. PCU (Passenger Car Unit) is a vehicle equivalence unit, where a standard car (5 seats) is considered one PCU. The charges will be effective from 00:00 hours on August 10th, 2025.

The toll collection method on the Ben Luc – Long Thanh Highway is a closed toll system, where charges are calculated based on the actual distance traveled. The toll collection mode is 100% electronic toll collection (ETC) in all toll lanes at all stations.

The toll stations include Station 01B, Station 02A/B, Station 03, Station 04, Station 06, and Station 07, located along the operational sections: Km0+000 – Km21+850, from Ho Chi Minh City – Trung Luong Junction to Nguyen Van Tao Junction; and Km50+530 – Km57+581, from Phuoc An Junction to National Highway 51 Junction.

According to VEC, all vehicles using the Ben Luc – Long Thanh Highway are required to pay the service charges as stipulated to ensure project investment recovery, except for cases of exemption based on the Government’s Decree No. 130/2024/ND-CP dated December 31st, 2024, and other relevant regulations (if any).
