It featured an iconic image: the historic moment of tanks rolling into the Independence Palace. The Unification card made a strong impression in the market and attracted thousands of customers to apply through NCB’s digital platform and hotline. It is not just a financial product with a host of privileges enabling convenient global transactions but also the first and only card in the financial-banking market associated with the historical events of April 30 and May 1, imbued with the national pride of the Vietnamese people.

Although detailed information about this special financial product has not yet been disclosed, according to the latest update on NCB’s official communication channel, the new card will be launched on August 18, right before the 80th National Day celebration. The “Pride” card will feature two exclusive designs and come with a host of special privileges for its holders. The bank is now ready for the official launch of these two special and meaningful cards.

Although the full card design has not been revealed, from the sneak peeks provided by the bank, it is evident that the “Pride” card continues to embody the spirit of nationalism. It features a vibrant red color like the national flag but with a touch of elegance. Elements alluding to the national flag, the Dong Son drum, the map, and the historic moment of the Declaration of Independence being proclaimed at Ba Dinh Square can be discerned even from these partial glimpses. These subtle yet powerful reminders are sure to evoke emotions of patriotism in every Vietnamese heart.
