According to Báo Hà Tĩnh, the Provincial People’s Committee has recently submitted a document to the Government Office and the Ministry of Construction regarding the registration of five large-scale projects and works to be inaugurated and commenced in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025). Out of the five grand projects that Hà Tĩnh proposed, one is set to be inaugurated, while the remaining four will be commenced.
The Vinhomes Vũng Áng Industrial Park project, invested in by Vinhomes Hà Tĩnh Industrial Park Joint Stock Company (a subsidiary of Vingroup), is one of the three key projects selected by the province for commencement during this period, alongside the Cửa Sót Sea Square and the resettlement area serving the North-South high-speed railway route.
The Vinhomes Vũng Áng Industrial Park project was approved by the Prime Minister on July 13, 2024, with a focus on investing in and operating the industrial park’s infrastructure. It will span an area of 964 hectares and require a total investment of over VND 13,276 billion. This site will be dedicated to producing components and parts for the VinFast factory and the electric car industry as a whole.

The project is strategically located in the central area of the Vũng Áng Economic Zone, specifically in the CN4 and CN5 lots. The project has a duration of 70 years, commencing from the date of approval of the investment policy and the selection of the investor.
Currently, over 60 hectares of land have been cleared for the project, ensuring the necessary conditions for organizing the groundbreaking ceremony.
Given the substantial investment scale, the project is subject to stringent progress requirements and the attraction of ancillary projects. Specifically, the total capital of inter-industry projects within the cluster must reach a minimum of USD 2 billion. Once operational, the industrial park is expected to contribute an average of VND 1,200 billion annually to the state budget.

The group has also expressed its intention to invest in additional projects, including seaports, logistics services, and the Kỳ Ninh resort to support the electric vehicle factories and foster the development of the Vũng Áng Economic Zone.
