Companies Finalizing Dividend Payouts for the Week of Aug 11-15

ACE leads the pack with a 25% dividend payout ratio next week, comprising the second (15%) and third (10%) installments of 2024 dividends. The ex-dividend date is set for August 14. The payout will be made in two phases: 15% on September 15 and 10% on October 15, totaling over VND 7.6 billion.
Earlier in May, ACE completed the first dividend payout for 2024 at a rate of 10%. Thus, the total cash dividend for 2024 stands at 35% (VND 3,500/share), amounting to nearly VND 10.7 billion.
Following closely is MNB (May Nha Be), finalizing a 20% dividend payout (VND 2,000/share). The ex-dividend date is August 15, with an expected payment date of August 29. With 20 million shares in circulation, MNB will distribute a total of VND 40 billion for this dividend. This marks the third consecutive year that MNB has maintained a 20% dividend payout, a decrease from the 25% rate during 2015-2019 but an improvement from the 10-12% payouts in 2020-2021. The projected dividend payout for 2025 ranges from 12-20%.
Additionally, two other companies, SMB, a member of Sabeco, and TOT, a subsidiary of Transimex, will finalize cash dividend payouts at a rate of 20%. The respective ex-dividend dates are August 14 and 13, with expected payment dates of August 25 and 29. SMB is set to distribute approximately VND 60 billion as the first dividend installment for 2025. For TOT, the payout amounts to roughly VND 18 billion, marking the highest dividend in the company’s history. TOT’s parent company, Transimex (HOSE: TMS), is expected to receive over VND 15 billion. The year 2024 stands out as a landmark, with record-high profits driving an unprecedented surge in the dividend payout ratio.
Only two companies will finalize stock dividend payouts next week: IDC (15%) and GSP (10%), both for 2024 dividends. Their respective ex-dividend dates are August 14 and 13.
