On August 11th, Dai Quang Minh Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company (Dai Quang Minh) proposed to the People’s Committee of Dong Nai province to approve the company’s proposal to develop a project to construct a road connecting Dong Xoai to Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road 4 (passing through Dong Nai province).

The road connecting Dong Xoai to Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road 4 is designed as a plain road with a speed limit of 80 km/h. The road is expected to have a width of 34.5 m with 8 lanes in the completed phase, while in phase 1, the road width is anticipated to be 20.5 m (4 lanes). The preliminary total investment for phase 1 of the project is estimated at over VND 22,600 billion.

The road will feature a 13-km long flyover passing through the Dong Nai Nature Reserve

Dai Quang Minh plans to divide the project into 3 sub-projects: Sub-project 1.1 involves constructing a 13-km long flyover through the Dong Nai Nature Reserve and Cultural Site, starting from Ma Da Bridge (Tri An commune) and ending at the intersection with Road 761 (Tri An commune). Sub-project 1.2 entails building a 31.5-km long road connecting the flyover to Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road 4, starting from Sub-project 1.1 and ending at the intersection with Ring Road 4 (Tan An commune). Sub-project 1.3 involves upgrading and expanding Road 753, which is approximately 16.7 km long, starting from the intersection with Dong Phu – Binh Duong Road (Tan Loi commune) and ending at Ma Da Bridge.

Dai Quang Minh proposes to invest in Sub-project 1.1 through a public-private partnership (PPP) in the form of a build-transfer contract. Sub-projects 1.2 and 1.3, as well as compensation, support, and resettlement activities, will be implemented through public investment with funding from the state budget.

According to Dai Quang Minh’s representative, the construction of the road connecting Dong Xoai to Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road 4 will shorten the travel distance between Dong Xoai ward and Tran Bien ward by approximately 13 km compared to existing routes, reducing travel time to 1-1.5 hours.

Previously, the People’s Committee of Dong Nai province approved the investment project for the construction of Ma Da Bridge, including the approach road with a starting point at the intersection with Road 753 (Tan Loi commune) and an endpoint at the connection with the road linking Ma Da Bridge to Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road 4 (Tri An commune, Dong Nai province). The total investment for the Ma Da Bridge project is over VND 133 billion, with the Dong Nai Province Project Management Board as the investor.
