After three successful seasons and making a profound impression on the national automotive community, Car Choice Awards (CCA) is officially back this year. With the theme “Soaring to Accelerate,” CCA 2025 is not just about honoring vehicles that suit different needs but also serves as a bridge between consumers, brands, and the innovative trends shaping the future of Vietnam’s automotive industry.

Car Choice Awards 2025 officially kicks off with a new theme.
Innovative Award System
While the previous season had only eight award categories, CCA this year is expected to expand its structure to 11 categories as follows:
- Family Car under VND 600 million
- Family Car from VND 600 million to VND 1 billion
- Family Car from VND 1 billion to VND 2 billion
- Family Car from VND 2 billion to VND 5 billion
- Car for Gen Z
- Car for Services
- Trending Award: Hybrid Car of the Year
- Trending Award: Market-Leading Car
- Trending Award: Most Favorite Chinese Car
- Content of the Year
- Rising Brand

Car Choice Awards is part of Better Choice Awards, honoring products that suit consumers’ needs.
The “Family Car” category, which was familiar in the previous season, is now divided into smaller segments based on price ranges, making it more relevant to the practical needs of families with different income levels and driving habits. Meanwhile, Gen Z is emerging as a distinct group of young consumers with a preference for technology, unique designs, and impressive experiences. The group of users in the services sector, including both businesses and individuals in passenger transport, also accounts for a significant proportion of total vehicle sales.
Additionally, the Vietnamese automotive market has witnessed three prominent trends: the rise of hybrid vehicles, including HEVs and PHEVs; the growing influence of Chinese cars with their diverse brands; and the emergence of market-leading vehicles that create a strong impact, whether in terms of pricing, equipment, or some other factor that forces the entire market to change.
Unlike the “Prominent New Brand” category of CCA 2024, the “Rising Brand” category this year will honor a car brand in the market that has made significant progress in terms of products, services, or market strategy.
Another highlight of the CCA 2025 award categories is “Content of the Year.” For the first time, media products, car review videos, podcasts, articles, or content campaigns that positively impact the automotive community will be included in the official judging system. This not only encourages creativity but also contributes to valuing car-related content that delivers more benefits to consumers.

Since its inception, CCA has impressed with its large-scale events.
Overall, the expected 11 categories of the Car Choice Awards 2025 present a clearer “picture” of the current Vietnamese automotive market while serving as a reliable reference tool for car buyers, from vehicle selection and comparison to making informed decisions that align with their personal contexts and the ever-changing social landscape.
Large-Scale Automotive Festival
Kicking off the series of activities for Car Choice Awards 2025 is the Vietnam Mobility Festival (VMF) 2025 – a significant experiential event for the automotive community, expected to take place in early October in Hanoi. This event will offer consumers a space to discover, test-drive, and directly connect with various car models, providing a comprehensive experience from exploration to purchasing decisions.
Car Choice Awards 2025 and Vietnam Mobility Festival 2025 are not just about honoring products and brands but also serve as a bridge between businesses, experts, and consumers. Through these awards, the Better Choice Awards system, and specifically Car Choice Awards, are gradually establishing a new standard in consumer product evaluation, promoting innovation, creativity, and smart choices.
Car Choice Awards (CCA) is one of the essential award systems under Better Choice Awards, a prestigious national-scale annual award organized by VCCorp Joint Stock Company in collaboration with the National Innovation Center, under the guidance of the Ministry of Finance.
CCA 2025 marks the fourth consecutive year of the awards. Upholding the principle of not choosing the best but the most suitable, CCA 2025 aims to continue providing practical advice to those who want to buy, change, or upgrade their vehicles and car enthusiasts in Vietnam. With the theme “Soaring to Accelerate,” CCA 2025 not only emphasizes exceptional vehicles but also honors, encourages, and applauds car brands and automotive content that demonstrate remarkable breakthroughs and resilience during this dynamic period.
